Modernization Upgrade

The CF34 Engine Modernization Upgrade allows you to convert your existing Hard-Time maintenance engines to On-Condition status by incorporating more durable, airline-proven hardware. The hot section of CF34-1A/-3A/-3A2 engines is upgraded to resemble the CF34-3A1. This upgrade creates a more robust engine that supports an On-Condition maintenance plan.

Component upgrades include:

  • Adding HPT Borescope capability
  • Replacing HPT Bradelloy shroud with steel shrouds
  • Incorporating a more robust HPT stator
  • Incorporating a more durable combustion liner and transition liner
